My mug holds 16oz of water and I add the coffee with it and it works perfectly. I sure would recommend this product to others. I bought a similar product and the brand is Hamilton beach and that thing sounds like a jet taken off. I have an electric coffee maker but I can’t get the coffee flavor all out of it, I like to boil my coffee and this product is so perfect
