They are light weight. yet really sturdy for a plastic frame. frankly I had not even noticed they were plastic until I was writing this review as they do not even appear as plastic. The HD glass is crystal clear, photos look nice in them. The frame edges are much lower profile than others I tried, so I can see more of my photos and less frame; yet the do a good job of giving edges around the photos. I really liked the easily opened back clips. they hold photos and backing securely yet are not hard to open to change photos when needed. I have arthritis and they were not painful nor difficult to use. While I appreciate how light weight they are for such a tough little frame, you may find you need a couple of tiny pins or a 3M strip to keep them perfectly level. The frame material and finish has withstood several bumps and drops without breaking, chipping or peeling during our install (as we rearranged several times for our frameless clock shape). Strangely, I even liked Eiffel tower picture that came in them. It aided centering them. like that they can hang vertical or horizontally or stand on their own. They were easy to hang as the little hanging tabs flip open to catch easily on a hanger, then go flat against the wall. We would highly recommend these nice looking frames! They are a sturdy frame for a good price. Review: Real glass and not cheap looking - Great quality and looks good. The frame may be plastic but the finish makes it look like metal even close up. These are perfect for a gallery wall of photos. So much better than that faux wood plastic frames in gallery sets. I bought those sets, they looked cheap. I returned. For these just buy the sizes you need. A little more expensive but well worth it. The best part is it has real glass not plexiglass. I don’t have to worry about scratches. Glass elevates the look. Easy to hang. Vertical and horizontal. Lots of options and has a stand too for a shelf.
