The lights are an added bonus. The mat underneath is actually very good quality, not just a gimic. I added a few cushions to it and it is a fabulous feature of her bedroom. Assemble took approximately 20minutes if you follow the instructions, and it's very easy. There's a lovely bag for storage and it is easily folded back to move around. It is very sturdy. So worth the money. It will last for years! Get it!!! Review: Great little teepee - Great little teepee. I'm glad we spent a little more and chose this one. The canvas is strong and well made. It goes together really easily. The mat is good quality (although apparently not machine washable) and the lights are a nice add-on (take 3 aa batteries). It's plenty big enough for an adult and a child, or 2-3 kids. We're choosing to just collapse it and store under a bed when not in use, as you'd have to completely dismantle it to put it on the bag supplied, but that works for us. Looking forward to seeing our granddaughter's reaction to it.
