Review: Great devices for multi-cade machines. - I love being able to switch from 4 to 8 way on the fly. These Improve playability on my multi-cade machines. Just make sure to plug it into your PC to tweak the settings for your machine. The initial settings may not be positioned properly for your particular device, but the links in the documentation will take you to the utilities to download for adjustments. I made sure to fine-tune each of the switchers before I installed them. Once you determine the position for one way then add or subtract about 50 from that positional value to set the other. That number seemed to work well for me. I have installed two in my AtGames Legends Ultimate (1.0) and two in my iiRcade (had to cut holes for the switchers to fit). I didn't cut button holes in either machine instead I just replaced the one and two-player buttons on both. So I replaced the player one button with the split button for selecting player one and player two and the previous player two button with the other split button for selecting 4 and 8-way switching. It's also nice to be able to adjust the buttons to match your machine's colors and/or set a specific color for each gate position.
