Not too difficult but does have some small parts. Comes with a pilot figure. When sitting next to a P51 Mustang in same scale it looks smaller. But they were not large planes, so I think the scale size is correct. Painting it was a little more complicated than other model planes I have done. I think my only real problem was finding the right colors to use. Overall, a fun model to build. I'm thinking of getting another one and paint it in the tropical color scheme.
