4. Please note that it only supports NVME SSD ONLY (NOTsupported by SATA SSD).

We tested our enclosure withSumsung 970 EVO NVMe SSD, and the actual speed can reach 1000 MB/s on R/W.However, please ensure that the Laptop TYPE C port also complies with USB3.2Gen 2 (10Gbps). If USB3.1 Gen 1 (5Gbps), then the speed will only be half that.

5. For the brand-new SSDdrive, it may not be found, so please format it before using it for the firsttime. Please format it to match the type that Windows and Mac support.

Following steps is the way to find the brand new ssd drive:

1. Use your mouse right keyto click "Computer", it will show a drop-down menu;

2. Use your mouse left keyto click "Computer Managment";

3. Use your mouse left keyto click "Disk Management”;

4. After find the brand new ssd drive, pleaseformat it, and made partition. Then you can find the drive normally.
