Review: Not sure who enjoyed this more... - Me or my 5yr old
nephew 🤣 Really fun and enjoyable sand to play with! If you are
used to the drier kinetic sand then this one might feel a little
weird at first. It has a thicker, heftier, gritty feel to it. My
nephew really enjoyed making sandcastles with the moulds. Super
fun and kept him entertained for ages. At first I was worried it
would be hard to get the sand out the moulds but they slid right
out and maintained their shapes. The only huge negative I would
have to say about this particular sand is the smell. I don't know
what it is but when taking the sand out of the bag it's kinda
noticeable and unpleasant. Reminds me of glue?? However, after
playing with the sand over 5 days and leaving it out for quite a
while at times, either I've got used to the smell or it fades
away slightly. I can only really smell it if I grab a handful,
hold close to my face and breathe it in now. Besides that, this
sand has been really awesome to play with. My nephew absolutely
loves it and finds new things to do, like burying items and
digging them out! Will definitely be buying more to add to this
one :)
Review: Good value, good fun. - Bought this after receiving the
smaller set as a gift, more sand was required! This has been a
big hit with my 5 year old and 2 year old, the like all the
accessories that come with it and I like that the box is the play
tray, easy to tidy up and store, 2 year old gets it put to play
himself. I thought this set was better value than just the sand
on it's own. I prefer this to play dough, seems less messy but
still creative.
