Compact, waterproof, and shockproof Bluetooth speaker with impressive ULT POWER SOUND, deep bass, clear call quality, and 12-hour battery life for outdoor adventures. Review: Great bit of kit - I wanted something that was simple but robust enough to take a few knocks when I’m working in the garage and this came out top in my research. It’s fair to say that I’m not disappointed. The speaker is waterproof, dustproof, and rustproof with an IP67 rating, which is ideal for the garage environment. It can be used vertically or horizontally, so it has a small footprint, and doesn’t take up much room in the workspace, but I can also hang it by the carrying handle. It paired with my phone, my partner’s phone, and a tablet with no issues at all. To me, the sound is brilliant. I was warned that the bass might not be great, but it has handled all of my special ‘test the speaker out’ tunes and although there could be more bass, what’s is there is more than adequate for the average person, especially if you use the ULT button. I do have the option to add an additional linked speaker in the future if I want to. The battery life is good, too, and I can get at least 2 or 3 evenings out of it before it needs to be charged. All-in-all, a great bit of kit that’s worth the money. Recommended. Review: Good speaker that handles bass well for it’s size - Good portable speaker that packs a punch for its size. Handles baseline to reggae genre quite well. At first I was wondering whether to keep it, as I felt the bass coming out was not as heavy as I wanted. However, this is down to how heavy some songs are from the Apple iTunes app, which can differ. In light of that I am really happy with this speaker as it does handle the bass well even at a higher volume. Well made and what you would expect from Sony. I like the orange colour which adds a nice pop of colour the room. Overall a good speaker that handles bass well for its size. Would recommend.
