Sony BRAVIA 7 II K-98XR70M2 transforms premium home entertainment with an expansive 98-inch 4K HDR display engineered around Sony's True RGB technology. The advanced system independently drives three-colour red, green and blue LEDs, producing exceptional colour volume, precise gradation and a wider viewing angle for an immersive cinematic presentation. Sony's evolved Backlight Master Drive precisely manages the RGB light sources, allowing the display to reveal subtle tonal differences from intense highlights to deep shadow areas while maintaining rich, natural-looking colour.
RGB Triluminos Max further enhances the available colour range, while Smooth Color Gradation helps reproduce subtle transitions without distracting steps between similar shades. X-Wide Angle Pro maintains vivid colour and natural contrast from both frontal and off-centre seating positions, an especially useful capability for such a large screen. XR Clear Image uses AI-based processing to intelligently upscale compatible content toward 4K, restore detail lost during transmission and reduce signal noise.
XR Motion Clarity complements this processing by analyzing movement across multiple frames and synchronizing the backlight with on-screen motion, helping fast sports, action sequences and games remain smooth, bright and clear. The BRAVIA 7 II also combines its premium picture system with immersive audio, Google TV entertainment and advanced gaming capabilities. Acoustic Multi-Audio+ positions sound so that it appears more naturally connected to the action on screen, while evolved 3D Surround Upscaling expands conventional stereo into a wider virtual three-dimensional sound field.
Voice Zoom 3 uses AI machine learning to recognize dialogue and allows voice prominence to be adjusted for clearer conversations. Google TV organizes movies, shows and other entertainment from supported apps and subscriptions, complemented by voice search, Google Cast and Apple AirPlay 2 for convenient content discovery and sharing. Cinema-focused technologies include IMAX Enhanced, Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos support.
For gaming, HDMI 2.1 functionality provides 4K at 120fps, Variable Refresh Rate and Auto Low Latency Mode with compatible equipment. PlayStation 5 integration adds Auto HDR Tone Mapping and Auto Genre Picture Mode, while Game Menu 2 brings supported gaming settings and functions together for convenient access. Combining immense scale, True RGB colour reproduction, intelligent 4K processing, cinematic audio and comprehensive smart functionality, the K-98XR70M2 is designed as a commanding centrepiece for movies, sports, gaming and everyday entertainment.
