SmartGames Horse Academy

Create a path and jump to the finish! Horse Academy is a path-building logic puzzle: build a show-jumping track so your horse canters over the obstacles in exactly the right order, from the start to the exit gate. Place the fixed pieces as shown, then fit the path and obstacle pieces together into a complete course — remembering that the same piece can often be used more than once, even facing a different direction, and that your horse can't take a turn too sharp to canter. With 80 challenges from Starter all the way to Wizard, Horse Academy builds planning, spatial insight, problem solving, concentration and flexible thinking. These are the STEM-connected thinking skills behind engineering, mathematics and logical reasoning — and the reason this game works just as well for a 7-year-old's first logic course as it does for an adult who wants a genuine challenge. Screen-free, beautifully made, and endlessly re-playable — a thoughtful gift across generations, and a favourite for any child who loves horses. From SmartGames, the award-winning Belgian logic game company trusted by families and educators in 80+ countries.

Directions

1. Choose a challenge. Place your horse at the starting point and the gate at the finish. 2. Create a path from start to finish. Obstacles should be placed so that they are jumped over in the same order as shown in the challenge. Sometimes you will jump the same obstacle more than once! 3. There is only one solution, found at the end of the challenge booklet.
