With a wealth of lessons learned from building the best performing tower cases in the last several years, SilverStone engineers upgraded GD07’s cooling performance tremendously with up to four 120mm fan options. And to make sure owners can easily maintain their cases’ cooling ability over time with the lowest noise possible, custom designed removable filters surround the case for positive pressure to work effectively and quietly. Built to hide the imperfection of I/O ports and the plethora of drives that may be installed in its four 5.25” drive bays, the GD07’s lockable aluminum front door is beautifully finished with hairline brush pattern to match other home theater components. SPECIAL FEATURES Positive air pressure design for excellent cooling/quietness and dust-prevention Support expansion cards up to 13.6 inches Supports Extended ATX motherboard Quick access filters to prevent dust buildup Lockable front door and power button ensure security of system and drives LED indicator with adjustable brightness Impressive storage capacity of up to eleven drive bays Review: Great case. - Great case it fit's high spec graphics cards, I have a high end set up, and it's very quiet and has plenty of air flow with the exhaust at the back of the TV cabinet, 3x120mm intake slots at the front, 2x 120mm intake slots on the side and 2x80mm rear exhaust at the back. the intakes have filters and 3 fans pre-installed, I bought 2xARCTIC F12 PWM Rev.2 and ARCTIC F8 PWM Rev.2, now these fans are cheap, shift a lot of air and are silent, I recommend them for any case. If you plan on using a after market cooler be careful to check out the specs of the case, being a HTPC case it, doesn't have room for some of the biggest coolers, the only thing is cable management not great but it doesn't matter because you won't be looking inside very much. Review: Something of a beast - This is an awesome case with tons of flexibility. I love the HD solution but when the system has a few drives in it and they're all wired up - it's not as accessible as I'd like it to be as you pretty much end up disconnecting all of the power and data cables to remove the full unit, even if you just need to work with one disk. Also, it gets quite toasty with running at max disk capacity - I ended up removing half of the HDs just to be able to run with acceptable fan noise levels. Case is quite compact for all it can fit in so careful consideration of cabling is a must. I love the 8th horizontal PCI slot on these cases - a very flexible feature. Love the look and build quality. Fits well on my a/v rack.
