Review: Very nice little set - I would have rated this set 5 stars, but the trunk on the mama elephant was broken off in the package. Some of the figures are breakable resin and some are durable vinyl. I wish all of them were vinyl, as resin isn't good for toys, if the animals are to be played with. It's more of a decorative miniature set to accessorize dioramic/dollhouse type scenes. You get a sandwich bag amount of what appears to be Spanish moss, but it's much softer than the stuff I use to decorate for Hallowe'en. The trees have good form and look fairly realistic. All have vinyl trunks and the Palms are all vinyl, but the others have the colored flocking material. They aren't the Sisal style. I like those, too, but these are more lifelike. Just the 2 deer are vinyl and the rest of the figurals are resin. The elephant that's broken should have a more practically positioned trunk. It sticks out on it's own too far, making it vulnerable to breakage. It can be glued, as it is a clean break. The set comes in a nice box with everything individually wrapped/separated. Like I mentioned, this really is a 5 star set and I highly recommend it for crafters and miniaturists.
