The 8-port switch in the ProSafe family are high-performance gigabit copper switch. They enable the fast and easy upgrade of an existing network to transfer speeds of 1000 Mbps (1Gbit/s). They are particularly suitable as a desktop device or wall-mounted, as they are fanless and therefore noise-free. At home or in the home office, PCs, laptop game consoles, AV receivers, printers and more, can be easily and inexpensively networked.
