Review: Colorful and Sturdy - This is such a nice pool for young
children. It is quite sturdy and colorful with its blue bottom
and green, pink, and yellow side rings encircling the entire
pool. It was easy to blow up. We used a pump, but you could also
blow it up by mouth if you have the time (and enough oxygen). The
pool has an unusual puffy bottom which cushions young feet from
the surface underneath. We put the pool on our deck, and the
grandchildren didn't feel the boards underneath the pool at all.
Size wise - the pool easily fits three young children (four might
be work, but would be a bit squishy). It holds a lot of water
because of the depth of the pool's sides. This pool was a bit
more expensive than other comparable pools, but I think this pool
will definitely last more than one season. It was worth the extra
money I spent when I purchased it.
Review: Perfect for the money and for our 1-year old twins - When
we got it it did already have a small hole in one side section,
but my husband found it and patched it (patch was included)
easily. After that it has been fantastic. LOVE that the floor is
padded too. Our 12 month olds have a ball in it and since the
floor was inflatable I hardly had to worry with their falling
down a lot. The size is perfect for two (we have twins), and the
sides are the perfect height - right now it's keeping them from
wanting to crawl out. I also plan to use it as a "ball" pool
indoors later this year - we'll see how it holds up then. I read
the reviews about not being able to empty it - since our kids are
young we only filled it with a few inches of water so we used a
bucket to get most out (only needed to do a couple of times) then
easily lifted one side to pour the rest out. But if it was
totally full for older kids I can see the problem, but it is
easily solved with a bucket. Just a piece of advice - if you do
fill it with water outside, don't leave the water in there for
more than a day or two. We did and it got a very slippery
algae-like film on it that was very time-consuming to scrub off.
