Review: Decent cable. Flexible - This arrived simply packaged in
a resealable plastic bag and I was pleased to see that both
connectors were capper to prevent damage during storage and
transit. The cable itself is what I call the older style, rather
than the more durable nylon braided ones. It’s not particularly
which and quite pliable. When the cable meets the housing there’s
a sleeve, allow some flex. Both connectors look to be good
quality and well finished. Due to the equipment I have, I was
only able to test the cable at 4K@60Hz and 2K@120Hz and had no
issues with either. As to the 16Gbps data transfer speed, this is
often referred to as the theoretical speed, since you are
unlikely to get that in real day-to-day use and so many things
can affect it. Just don’t expect 2000MB/s. Overall, it’s a decent
enough 2m cable for £13.99. I hope you found this review & photos
interesting, informative, and useful. Thanks for reading.
