Review: Looks to be high quality parts, should be challenging and fun to build - This is the ONLY C8 HTC DIY model I've seen. I don't know when I'll actually get around to building this, but the components look to be well made. It's kind of a throwback to the plastic models I built as a kid, but with many more parts and more detail. My first reaction was that it was kind of expensive, but when I factored in 60 years worth of inflation the price is right in line with what something like this would have cost when I was 10! I think it's going to be more challenging to build than the simple models I built as a kid, but that just makes it more fun. Oh, and all the parts are white, so you can paint it to match your Corvette. Review: Very Well Cast - little to no extra flash on the tree's ... - Very Well Cast - little to no extra flash on the tree's - this truly is a Level 4 model & NOT for the faint of heart. Tiny, tiny decals for the center console & various other trim pieces inside ... def NOT for the faint of heart. Cast in pure white - kinda/sorta thin cast - just like most kits these days. Overall - a fairly decent kit.
