Review: Lovely notebooks! - Bought these as they were great value
and looked really smart and sturdy. I needed something that would
do well with being carried around on a daily basis, so these
looked perfect! The covers are really lovely and soft, the colour
is definitely true to image as well. The paper feels really nice
quality, the pages are all numbered as well and there is a
contents page at the start, so that's really helpful if you want
to keep your notebook more organised! It does come with a little
set of sticky tabs as well which was really nice. I haven't
written in it yet, but from feeling the pages I don't believe
there would be much bleed through/transfer from using a regular
pen, a fountain pen or felt tip may bleed through though. Only
complaint is that they did have a really strong almost chemical
like smell to them upon opening. I think that may be to do with
the material the cover is made out of. They've been out of the
packet for about 3 days now and the smell is still slightly
present, but not as strong.
Review: Solid notebook - Ordered the two pack and both arrived
the next day with zero issues. The books are bound really well
and the paper is of high quality. A double strand page finder
makes a nice change combined with the elastic band page
placement. A small envelope built in to the rear cover is also a
nice touch and you are supplied with a selection of colour
dividers. I've used fountain pens and there's been no bleeding or
feathering, ball point pens also have no issues. Each page is
numbered at the bottom and at the top is printed "date". Up to
you if you use this or not. The lines on the paper are quite
subdued which is nice.... nothing like the books we used to get
at school where the lines were very dominant and a little
off-putting. The cover is hard wearing and has a solid feel. For
a diary or just note taking this is more than adequate, well it's
a notebook so use it how you want... Summary....great value,
excellent quality thick paper with a nice size pocket at the
back. Definitely recommend this book.
