Review: Great air purifier. - This review is for the Philips 2200
air purifier. Before this model had two of the 3200 models, both
developed a whining noise. So they was returned. This model is
brilliant so far, but only had for a day. The ap is useful and
you can also turn off the beeping noise, but only from the ap.
Turbo speed, not overly loud, but I won’t use that much. Medium
speed, again is fine. Auto mode is virtually silent. Sleep mode,
again silent. The lights can be turned off. I sprayed an air
freshener and it kicked in within seconds. This model is the same
size is diameter as the 3200 model, it is just shorter, although
still quite a big machine. But I love the look of it. The filter
is large, and is a good quality. It also has a three year life
span, but I guess that depends on usage. It can also be hoovered.
I’m hoping they drop in price and I will buy another for my
upstairs. There is no handle but it’s very light to carry. So for
now I will move it up and down stairs until I can get another
one. I bought it up to my bedroom at 7pm and my son starting
cooking his smelly chicken as you can see after 5 mins it ramped
right up. I am hoping they eventually make it in black. But I am
happy with it and would recommend. I have also done a video, as I
couldn’t find any video reviews. So hope that helps. I thought I
would ad to this review, after five days of use, the filter is
quite dirty, which is a good thing. I hoovered it clean. So it’s
definitely doing a good job 👍🏼 👇 Update. On the 19th my purifier
stopped connecting to the ap. I tried everything. Eventually the
ap picked up the purifier, but no way of controlling it. I tried
for hours. In the end I contacted desertcart and got a
replacement. It arrived on the 20th. I opened the ap which I kept
on my phone, with a message from the developer saying there had
been issues, but they had been resolved. It still wouldn’t
connect properly, although it said it had. I unplugged, removed
the device and the ap. Started again, all is good. So if you do
get connection issues, it’s the ap not the machine thankfully, as
I love mine. This is the best purifier I’ve had.
Review: Great for an open plan space - We have found that this
unit was perfect for our open plant downstairs of kitchen, dining
room and living room. It has a high CADR and seems very effective
at removing airborne particles (dust) as well as making the room
fresher. Really easy to use via controls on the device or the
app. Considering it's filtering 3 rooms of air it's size isn't
too big at all. On turbo you can hear it going but it's on auto
most of the time and you can't hear it at all. We have definitely
noticed a difference and my wife who suffers asthma (quite bad at
times) has said it's made a big difference. Overall, on offer is
great value for money.
