Buy Review: Great budget 2k monitor - highly recommended - I recently bought my first external monitor - a FHD IPS monitor. However, I discovered that unlike Windows computers, Macs don't render fonts very well on Full HD screens due to the way the UI is scaled. I was getting eye strain, headaches and all sorts trying to read the screen, so I decided to see if getting a 2k monitor would solve things. I can't express how happy I am with this monitor. It's significantly cheaper than a number of other 2k monitors, the Mac now looks FANTASTIC on it and the image is bright, vibrant and sharp. I opted for the 24in model which is ideal for my needs - university work mainly - and I find this monitor has the perfect ratio of screen size and resolution. I haven't yet tried gaming on it but I think it would be well equipped for it. Review: Compact with sharp image - Great monitor with very good definition and sharpness. An ideal addition for my home office.
