Pegasus City of Angels

City of Angels plays in the Los Angeles of the 1940s and is a game of secrets, illusions and investigations. The majority of players slip into the roles of LAPD Detectives who are ready to do everything to complete a case successfully. However, one player takes on the role of "Chisel", whose only goal is to misguide the investigators at each turn, through bluffs, manipulation and (oft) direct lies. Each player receives a separate, detailed book with information on the nine cases at City of Angels. Each crime is a carefully compiled puzzle that can unfold in different ways. City of Angels uses the innovative ARK (Adaptive Reaction Card) system to create the feeling of interviewing a suspect. Using the reaction cards, the Chisel carefully selects what the suspects reveal to the investigators. Players can question answers that they think of lies but that comes with a risk: if they are wrong, the "Chisel" wins influence over them.
