All my prior TV's have been Sony XDR's, but for this specific use case and location, I decided that an entry level 85" TV would fit the bill perfectly fine. First impressive feat was performed by the amazing desertcart delivery guy that handled this oversized 95 lb TV like a champ. Second impressive item was the Panasonic shipping box to protect the oversized TV, I was amazed at how well designed the shipping box was. Nothing was out of place or even closely at risk of being damaged. Third, was the setup from power up, to WiFi connectivity, to account setup and linking all related streaming services, it couldn't have been easier. The remote is compact and I have had no issues with finding what I needed on the control. Reviews online mentioned that this is not the brightest TV during the daylight use, but with my TV mounted in a room with four 8 foot windows, it was plenty bright enough during daytime viewing, honestly I cannot think why I'd need it brighter. Lastly the sound, I was completely ready to buy a soundbar, but after listening to the downfire factory speakers, everyone said the sound was perfectly reasonable. Clear voice, sound and music for football games and movies. Overall for such an amazing low BlackFriday $598 price, I couldn't be more impressed. In closing, yes you can buy a much better spec TV for a much higher price, but for this TV, the cost to value is amazing! Highly recommend.
