(Must-buy, but order an SD card) - ​I recently installed the Onelap Vidsure 3K (2025 model) and I’m thoroughly impressed with the performance. However, there are a few things new buyers should know regarding storage. ​The App Experience: Coming from an older dashcam, the app experience here is a total game-changer. My old unit required me to physically remove the SD card every time. With the Vidsure, the Wi-Fi connection is stable and download speeds are fast—essential because 3K files are large. ​ Video Quality: The front 3K resolution (Sony STARVIS IMX335) is remarkably sharp. ​Pros: ​ Great App: Fast downloads and easy to navigate. ​Night Vision: Excellent low-light performance. ​Design: Compact and doesn't obstruct the driver’s view. ​Cons: ​No SD Card included: It doesn't come with any storage. Make sure to have one ready. ​Screen Size: The 1.47" display is small, but the app makes the screen mostly unnecessary. ​Buyer’s Tip: Since the camera records in 3K, footage consumes space quickly. I recommend using a 128GB or 256GB High-Endurance SD card. ​ Overall: A top-tier choice for local road conditions. I did a DIY install and loved the clean setup. I suggest fishing the rear camera wire through the rear wiper wire path for the cleanest look. I will update this in 6 months regarding long-term durability.
