What is a Dynamic Mic? Dynamic mics have several advantages that
make them ideal for live applications or recording amplified
instruments. They’re robust, resistant to moisture and can
achieve high gain before feedback. These microphones’ cardioid
pickup pattern is designed to capture the source signal, such as
a guitar amplifier or vocalist, while shunning off-axis sound.
Why the SL 84C? If you take a look at the stage in any club,
you’ll probably see many dynamic mics for the vocalists, with
even more for the drums and amplifiers. This convenient
great-sounding mic is at your immediate disposal. SL 84C mics
provides super-clean sound with minimal distortion, a slight
presence lift in the critical mid-range. Value Check out the SL
84C at your nearest Behringer dealer and find out why these mics
are becoming so common in practice spaces, bedrooms, professional
studios and stages all over the globe. Moreover, they’re
available that will leave you with enough cash left over for
other essentials.
Review: Very good mic, worth its price. - This microphone is
rugged, feels light and is very comfortable while singing. Ideal
for vocals, instruments and live events. Good noise isolation as
it has a cardioid pattern. Provides a punchy and bright sound
character. It doesn't have an on-off button, so it must be
controlled fully from the console or interface. Needs about 55dB
to 60dB of gain, so you may need to use up to 90% of preamp gain
to get ideal recording levels with a typical mic preamp. Very
worthy at this price point. Although it's primarily a stage mic,
it can be used in studio rooms as well.
Review: I have been using behrimger's product since last twenty
years .Very bad product from behrimger - Price is pretty good but
sound quality is very bad. I did not aspect such quality from
Beringer.
