The deck starts by casting either Departed Deckhand or Spectral Sailor on turn one to get in some quick damage. These are then followed up with Supreme Phantom or Empyrean Eagle on Turns 2-3, which buff your entire spirit army, or with any one of a number of other power spirit cards. Hanged Executioner helps to build up a large army, meanwhile providing removal. God's Willing and Unbreakable Formation protect your army, and Conclave Tribunal provides additional removal for any bothersome creatures on your opponent's board.
