Review: Great Product - In the first picture, the right side in
the photo shows my hair's average response to a heating tool
after washing my hair. The left side of the same pictures shows
results after using this new tool. The second picture shows both
side curled. I used this tool 10 minutes after I got it, so there
will be some further learning in mastering it, but I love the
easy and effectiveness of this tool. My hair is fine, and it does
not ever want to curl, or if I get a slight curl, it drops out
within 30 minutes and leaves the mess you see in the second
picture. So the best I can ever hope for is smoothing out the
ends, at least. I live in a humid environment, and my hair is not
frizzing after using this tool. After sleeping on the hair for a
day or two, my hair is still smooth with a slight bend at the
ends. This tool is perfect for fine hair because of the ability
to adjust to a low heat. The heated teeth are far enough apart
which makes it easy to comb through the hair, and the teeth are
deep enough that my hair doesn't slip out of the teeth while
using it. The size and the weight of this tool couldn't be more
perfect. It is easy! to hold, and the weight of it will not
fatigue my hand, arm, or shoulder. It is perfect for me. Another
thing that is great about this tool is, I can hold it in
different spots and not burn my hand, which makes it easy to try
new methods. Just don't lay your hand or fingers on the heating
elements on the top side. when the black cap is off. That will
burn you. But, if I have enough hair wrapped around it, I can lay
my hand on top of the hair as I am using the heating element and
gliding it downward. The only question I have about this tool is
this; there is a black cap on the topside that covers the heating
element for curling. When take it is lifted off, it exposes the
hair to the direct heating elements for curling. If I only want
to smooth everything straight to ends without a bend or curl in
the ends, I don't know if I am supposed to remove the black cap
off the tool, or only remove it when I want direct contact with
the heating element pad. I don't know if it okay to keep the
black cap on while using, or is it a must that it is removed at
all times? It doesn't address that in the instructions. IN other
words...is the plastic cap designed to handle the heat when not
using the heating elements? I really look forward to using this
tool for some time.
Review: Great for Gray Hair at Part Line - This wand works great
to straighten my gray hair right near the part line where it gets
a bit unruly. Other curling irons can’t reach so close to the
part line.
