BUT, if hand washing them, please be careful to avoid using anything with metal to clean. I use a sponge-like vase wand for cleaning but the interior metal holding the sponge pieces together did slightly scratch the interior of one cup. Also, be aware that any dark liquid (coffee or darker tea) may stain the cup interior as well….which is why I also purchased the black version of these cups to keep the cups looking their best. The cups are beautiful and do a good job of keeping your drink at a comfortable drinking temperature. The wood cuffs are comfortable to hold and protect your hand from burning liquids. They also stack well….the bottom one upside down underneath the one which is rightside up. . I am very happy with my purchases and do recommend them. Review: Looks good - Was looking for something to fit the 2.7 oz nespresso espresso drinks but this is still too small due to the foam that needs the extra space. Will need to find a 4-6oz. I would've kept this if it had fit. Looks and feels great.
