Mercusys MW302R

Mercusys MW302R 300 Mbps Multi-Mode Wireless N Router is designed to deliver fast daily Wi-Fi for work and leisure with wireless speeds up to 300 Mbps under IEEE 802.11n, supporting activities such as HD streaming, online gaming and rapid file downloads on the 2.4 GHz band. Two external 5 dBi high-gain antennas, combined with advanced antenna technology, help extend wireless coverage and improve signal strength across larger homes or offices so devices can remain connected in more areas.

The MW302R offers four operation modes in a single device: router mode creates a wireless network from a wired internet source; range extender mode repeats an existing Wi-Fi signal to extend coverage; access point mode converts a wired network segment into wireless; and WISP mode wirelessly connects to an ISP network where wired service is not available. Installation can be completed in minutes using an intuitive web-based setup page and the Mercusys app provides an additional way to configure and manage the router from iOS or Android devices.

Active parental controls allow the creation of appropriate access policies to supervise children or staff by limiting when and how connected devices access the internet. A guest network function lets visitors connect to Wi-Fi while helping to keep the primary network private. QoS features enable prioritization of selected devices to maintain better performance when there is high demand on available bandwidth.

The router supports IPTV using IGMP proxy/snooping, bridge and VLAN tag options to optimize streaming from compatible IPTV services. Additional functions include Wi-Fi schedule to automatically turn off wireless at set times, LED control to dim indicators during sleep hours, WPA/WPA2-based security and compatibility with IPv6 services and websites.
