Review: Very highly recommend. - This mic works very well for
voice recording. I had previously purchased a Maono Dynamic mic,
but it didn't pick up the subtleties of my voice. This condenser
mic does the trick. I'm running it through a Roland Rubix24 into
my laptop, and using Ableton Lite. My voice sounds really good.
Not tinny at all. I've used a Blue Bird mic in the past, and I'd
be hard pressed to find a difference just by listening to the two
back-to-back. It does pick up background sound, which is great
for picking up even soft-spoken/singing vocals; but, does pick up
potential unwanted background noise. Just make sure you're in a
quiet environment. The boom arm is stiff right out of the box. I
moved it through it's full range of motion by hand before putting
it in the mount. This helped with the movement. It worked really
well after that. And as with most things, take care of it and
it'll take care of you. Extremely happy with the purchase.
