The GearUp Creator Box XL II camera bag organizer is the perfect
portable solution to protect your mirrorless camera kit and
accessories. Flexible interior dividers can be adjusted to secure
full-frame mirrorless cameras like the Sony Alpha9 with a 70/200
mm f/2.8 lens plus 2 additional lenses. An interior pocket can
hold a memory card and the exterior pocket store cords, cables,
lens caps, and accessories. The new QuickDoor entry system
provides fast and easy access to gear, while a locking strap
keeps everything secured right where you want it. Choose between
carrying the organizer alone or inside a larger bag The GearUp
Creator Box XL II is part of Lowepro's efforts towards
sustainability through the Green Line project. It's been updated
to include 82Percent recycled fabrics (including all fabrics,
webbings, bindings, zipper tape, cords, and meshes) to reduce its
negative impact on the environment. This Green Line score is
measured following the GRI 301-2 standard, as a percentage of the
recycled yarn used, compared to the total weight of yarn.
Review: Great camera bag - I haven't taken my camera out anywhere
since purchasing this bag, but what I will say is the difference
in storage compared to my old "over the shoulder" style is
incredible. Modular approach with the inserts allowing you to
organise as you see fit, camera fits in perfectly with a lense
attached with a good "holder" insert to keep the camera/lenses in
place and avoid moving. It's big enough to store everything the
hobbyist would need, fits nicely in a rucksack and has quick
access to the camera if needed. Overall, great quality bag and
well worth the money
Review: A nice idea, well implemented and pretty versatile too. -
I'm forever looking for new ways to pack my cameras, lenses and
assorted bits and bobs. Being already quite wedded to Lowepro
bags, I was keen to try this inner case to see if it could make
life a bit easier when sharing one bag between more than one
camera system (I have several systems). The idea behind the
Lowepro Creator Box series is that you keep your kit in these and
altogether, and simply remove the box in one go, instead of
having to pack each individual item separately. Hope that makes
sense. Think of it as a kind of internal case within a case. And
to this extent it works very well. It's well constructed, with
the usual movable dividers and a handy external pouch, though it
doesn't come with a strap if you wanted to use it as a small case
on its own (which will be possible). I originally intended to use
it for my GFX kit but it's a bit too small for that, but perfect
for my Mamiya C220 TLR film kit and lenses. So that's what it
does now. I might pick up a second one for smaller GFX outings,
as I like the concept. The ecosystem of these GearUp accessories
is growing all the time and I can see a lot of sense in investing
in these and a single (outer) bag, rather than multiple bags if
you have a larger system or more than one system. Value-wise,
it's a little on the pricy side - especially if you end up
needing to purchase more - but Lowepro make very good quality
bags that are durable and pretty well designed, so I suspect it
will last a long time. It's not especially heavy, so could also
double up as an additional inner even if you only have a single
bag, since you'd gain from having that extra protection. Overall,
I like the concept and implementation, and may buy more
accessories in time
