The volume and sound quality are excellent for my purposes. I'm not doing anything professional with it - I just wanted a portable speaker to throw in my suitcase when I travel. It's very easy to use and set up. The battery life is great - it plays for hours. What I'm especially happy with, and the reason I chose this one specifically, is that it has an audio jack. Because blue tooth connections aren't always reliable, I wanted to have a physical cable that I knew would work. I've used this for hours so far and have no complaints. Review: What I hoped for - What I needed for the car and easy to use. I have an older vehicle that does not link up to blue tooth and I could not seem to find just the right audio device until this one. I have used this for a couple of months now and I don't have anything bad to say about it so I will just list the things that make me glad I finally got this affordable option after other attempts with other products were failures. First it is so easy to use. After linking it the first time, it links up right away at turning on, no waiting a long time or anything. It always locates my phone right away. It is really easy to use without even looking at it once you use it a few times. I had tried another one before and trying to push mode and stuff to set it up to use each time was really aggravating, would take forever for each mode and would require me to pull over so as not to interfere with driving (safe driving is a must). I was prepared for the same thing with this one but I was so pleased when I started using it, it went to the right mode that I was trying to use each time after turning it on so without looking I can push the power button and I am good to go. Also sound is easy to control, you can do it from your phone or from the device. This is really handy in case you can't reach one item or the other. Second, the sound is GREAT! I could not have been happier with the sound. It can go so loud that I do not dare turn it up all the way, no need and the sound is so clear. It took me months to listen to a book before this sound device because while driving I would have to rewind so I could not hear sections again clear but as soon as I started listening with this, I could not wait to start the next book as I got through them so fast. Third, it works great for other phone audio sounds also including talk to text (text reading) and GPS on my phone. I actually turn the sound off on my phone GPS or turn it down through the menu options because it will be so loud over the audio book it can be a little much because the book audio seems to be lower sound and when turned up to hear nicely on this it makes GPS really loud. I wish I could control the sounds separate easily on my phone but I am not disappointed that I can't. The fact I can hear my books so loud and clear is wonderful. Fourth, the size is great. It is small enough to fit in my cup holders but I avoid that because it is shorter that the cup holder and makes it harder to get out but if I have a cord to it, it does not slip in. I have a spot in my dash it can sit also if I wanted it to be higher but I usually just leave down on the seat next to me. It is really amazing the sound that comes out of it for it being so small. Fifth, it seems really well made. I had tried a couple other sound items before and they were just plastic and once I started using them they would start to cut in and out or not hold a charge or something. For the size of this, it has some weight to it. I don't have it in my hand right now but I feel like if you sat on it, it is not going to break. I would say this is a great little sound device for your car or even your home if you need something to help boost the sound of any blue tooth product.
