Remember powering up your Game Boy for the first time? The LEGO
Game Boy (72046) building set for adults helps Nintendo fans ages
18 and up relive the magic of that moment with LEGO bricks. A
fantastic gift for fans of Nintendo video games, the collectible
set features a near 1:1 scale brick-built replica of the original
Game Boy handheld game system from Nintendo. Press the +Control
Pad, A and B Buttons, and SELECT and START, just like on the real
system. As you build, explore other iconic Game Boy details,
including the contrast adjustment and volume dial and the Game
Pak slot. Customize your display with interchangeable,
brick-built The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening or Super Mario
Land Game Boy Game Paks and corresponding lenticular screens (or
a Nintendo start screen). Place your creation on the buildable
display stand for the ultimate piece of retro-inspired home or
office gaming decor. Build solo or with friends using the
step-by-step instructions or by accessing the LEGO Builder app.

Review: Five Stars of Pure Nintendo Nostalgia - I give this set
five stars without hesitation. It is absolutely worth the 60
dollars and if you can find it for less that is even better. This
LEGO Super Mario Game Boy set is peak nostalgia and it brings a
surprising amount of joy while building it. The build is engaging
and satisfying from start to finish and it feels like a love
letter to classic Nintendo. It easily stands out as one of the
best LEGO sets released in 2025. Every detail feels thoughtful
and true to the original Game Boy look. After finishing the build
you might even want to check out Build a Boy or Brick Boy
projects which let you turn this LEGO model into a fully
functional Game Boy style device. Even without that extra step
this set is an amazing display piece and a must have for LEGO and
Nintendo fans alike.
Review: Awesome LEGO Set for Gamer Husband! - I bought this set
for my husband as a Christmas gift in 2025. He had a blast
putting it together and started assembling it after he opened all
of his gifts. As usual, LEGO delivered with assembly instructions
and quality. His favorite things about the set are that you can
change out the screen and the buttons can all be pressed. We both
feel that this set was worth the $60 price tag. It was fun to put
together and it is a nice piece to have in his office.
