Review: Great one for collectors - The LEGO Captain Rex Helmet is a really solid looking display piece and easily one of the better helmets in the Star Wars line-up. The blue detailing pops nicely and makes it stand out straight away, especially compared to some of the more plain white helmets. The build itself is pretty enjoyable too, with some clever layering going on, so it never really feels boring when putting it together. That said, it does rely quite a bit on stickers, which is a bit annoying at this price point. Lining them up perfectly can be fiddly and if they’re slightly off, it kind of messes with the overall look. Also, if you’ve already built the Stormtrooper helmet, parts of this will feel very familiar, almost like a remix rather than something totally new. Overall though, it’s a good display piece and looks great on a shelf, especially if you’re a Clone Wars fan or already collecting the helmet series.
