The LANCOM 1781VAW is a universal professional VPN router for high-speed Internet access with integrated VDSL2 and ADSL2+ modem as well as WLAN according to IEEE 802.11n. As a powerful foundation for flexible Internet connection and professional WLAN for small and medium-sized businesses as well as home offices, it meets the highest standards of security and performance. It is suitable for all VDSL and ADSL connections - also for splitter-less operation according to ADSL2+ Annex J - as well as for connection to an external modem. With the built-in dual band WLAN according to 802.11 a/b/g/n, the LANCOM 1781VAW also connects wireless clients in the 2.4 or 5 GHz frequency range. It also offers professional site connectivity: extensive high-speed VPN functions guarantee secure connection of branches and external employees. The four ports of the integrated Gigabit Ethernet switch guarantee maximum performance while being energy efficient according to IEEE 802.3az: If no data is transmitted on an interface, the power consumption is automatically shut down.
