Created in collaboration with The Summer I Turned Pretty, this fragrance captures moments inspired by the story that captures our hearts every summer. Bonfire Nights wraps you in gooey marshmallow, toasted vanilla, and caramelized sugar, smoked with crackling wood and bonfire embers. Review: SPICY, sweet, warm, vanilla scent - I really like this! It's a SPICY warm vanilla. Not so much smoky as sweet and spicy with a very subtle woodiness in the background. If I had to pick a spice that stood out I might say like a clove or anise. There are aspects of this combination that can make it smell a bit like licorice, which I'm totally OK with(if you don't like a licorice smell you probably won't like this). Looking at the notes I initially thought this would be similar to By the Fireplace or maybe BBW Bonfire Bash, but this is definitely goes in a different direction. This works for me since I find that a vanilla/wood combination can kind turn a little rubbery smelling on my skin. All the notes mentioned are there but the spices definitely are at the forefront with a bit of sweetness and woodiness playing supportive roles. This is not a literal translation of a bonfire smell but rather an olfactory impression of the sweetness and warmth. Review: Pungent! - Pungent and overpowering. Horrific smell. Immediate return.
