This new projector is fantastic - a huge step forward in three key areas: Brightness, Colour & Focus. On taking it out of the box I was immediately impressed by the style and design of the projector. Although compact, the projector feels substantial. With clean simple lines, it looks modern and fits right in with its surroundings. This projector is very watchable in limited daylight although it comes into its own in a darkened room. (I've never been to a cinema with windows?). The colours are natural, and the focus is now sharp across the screen. I use a streaming stick and connect my hi-fi to its bluetooth so will not review the sound here, suffice to say if you want the full cinema effect you are clearly better with a separate sound system. The onboard speaker is however, surprisingly clear and loud so if you are going to use the product away from your standard set up then this would be a capable solution to the audio. Worth mentioning also that the fan noise on this latest unit is significantly quieter - once you have the soundtrack up at normal levels you will not notice it all. The settings menu allows you to take control of the projector. Although the autofocus is brilliant, my projector and screen are in fixed positions, so I appreciate being able to turn off the autofocus every time the unit boots up. Also you can define your own user settings for the image. By default I find the picture to be sharper and more saturated than I prefer - being able to tweak these settings to exactly how I like them is very helpful. Overall, a phenomenal piece of equipment for a very reasonable price. For anyone stepping into the world of home cinema then this is a brilliant option.
