The difference is night and day. I recently switched from an Optoma( an arc bulb projector), and while I was worried about moving away from a big-name brand, this has been an amazing alternative. The Good: Hardware & Picture The hardware performance is where this unit really shines. • Brightness: It’s actually usable during the day! With my window blinds partly down and some light in the room, the image remains clear and vibrant. It feels like a true approx 1500 ANSI rating. • Auto-Correction: The Auto Focus and Keystone work like a charm. It snaps into a crisp, perfectly angled image almost instantly when moved, which makes setup a breeze. • Resolution: The 4K (HD in reality) support delivers a very crisp picture quality. It’s sharp enough for text and looks fantastic for high-def movies. • Audio: I was pleasantly surprised by the sound. It has decent weight and clarity for built-in speakers perfectly fine for a bedroom or casual viewing. The Not-So-Good: Software Limitations My only real gripe is the Movin OS. Coming from more open systems, I find it quite restrictive. • App Selection: It's missing several popular apps (like Viu or Viki) that you'd easily find on the Google Play Store. • Sideloading: While you can sideload some apps, the OS makes it difficult and doesn't support everything. Summary: From a hardware perspective, this projector is perfect. If you’re okay with the OS quirks or better yet, if you plan to plug in a Fire Stick or Apple TV this is a powerhouse for the price. Review: Portable and smart, a camping wonder! - This smart portable projector is simply a must-have for camping. The body is not large, but the brightness and picture quality are both very impressive. When projected onto the curtain outside the tent at night, it is particularly clear. The autofocus and trapezoidal correction functions make the installation super simple. There's no need to manually adjust it slowly. It's really smart. The built-in app can directly play online videos. You can watch movies by connecting to WiFi. Bluetooth can also be used to connect speakers or headphones, which is very convenient. The picture supports HDR10+, with very natural color performance. It's very impressive to watch animations and blockbusters. The overall workmanship is solid and the user experience is smooth. It is the most satisfying shopping experience I have had recently!
