Granted he likes dinos and transformers, so this seemed like our was meant to be. The transformation is simple, but the mechanism to do so is a little hard for him... You push the little cover behind the human looking head back until it pushes past a certain point, and then it allows the legs to rotate. And reverse to transform it back. Easy enough, but needs a little strength. At first I was worried I was going to break it, but then it moved and everything was fine. Maybe be careful until you get the gist of it. It feels like a pretty sturdy toy. He's only had it a week and a half, so we'll see. I like the size. Not to big and not too small. For how much he loves it and gets so much enjoyment out of it, it was well worth the money. Some of the bits are hard to move at first- felt like I was going to break it but then they get easier with use. Good value and quality. Great fun for toddler.
