We buy 12 bottles of water for the campervan (sealed and can be stored easily as well as removed when not needed) and used one 500ml bottle of water, which is perfect for two of us to have a cuppa (both mugs are 250ml) but this kettle demanded more water to make more cups for more people, and definitely had room to do so lol Boiling the 500ml was super fast, faster than the previous kettle probably due to the bottom trapping heat better, and blocks the wind blowing the flame causing a longer boil. It comes in a protective bag which stops scratching the kettle but I like the handle better than the original one we had which always heated the handle so a welcome addition for us. Ideal for boiling water for cooking or drinking when gas outside is open to wind and the elements. Good quality, and at the end of boiling we emptied before storing and water came out easy like a non stick surface or something so left no residue (stops mould) so again a plus. I am struggling to find any fault with this and give it a 10/10 from us and as a plus a bonus for dehydrated ready meals we take camping as water heats up so well it’s quicker than our pan boiling water. (Saves gas and saves needing to carry more gas too) Review: Fantastic product - Bought this to replace a regular gas camping whistling kettle...which split after 1 year even though it was prob only used for 12 weeks max as in motorhome.... This is far superior, boils quicker, takes up less room, and lighter. Only 2 observations, no whistle which we knew at time of purchase...but more importantly lid falls off when you tip it all the way up to get last bit of water out...burnt my finger twice now but will try not to do it a third time..lol..
