I bought my kettle FIVE YEARS AGO, and it made it through my entire service, it lived through my barracks, university, multiple moves, it’s seen me get married and now it’s making tea and hot chocolate for my own little family. It’s insanely durable, I’ve dropped it, gotten water in just about every part of it, and I’m pretty sure I could drop it off the roof and it would be fine. It heats rapidly, consistently, and is perfectly designed. It shuts off on its own with an audible sound that I can hear from anywhere in the house at this point (I’ve been conditioned by my own kettle) but isn’t at all loud or overwhelming to the overall space. It’s a beautiful piece for the price point and complements my kitchen so well, functions perfectly even so many years later and I came back here today to buy a second one for our office and figured it was time to write a review.
