Those cards will be the resources you use as you collaborate with your friends to unravel the most terrible mysteries the world faces. Each of your adventures in Arkham Horror: The card game will delve you deeper into the mystery. You will find sectarians and maddening rituals, you will stumble upon haunted houses and strange creatures. And you may come across obvious signs of the constant struggle of the Early Ones to break down the barriers that keep them away from our world. You can enjoy Arkham Horror: The Card Game by playing a series of adventures separately, but only when you play one adventure after another will you come to understand the insanity underlying this game. The basic game mode is not about playing an adventure, but about enjoying a full campaign, and all your choices and actions have consequences that will last beyond the resolution of the scenario you're playing. Adventures may leave you marked, your sanity will be affected as you feel the madness begins to seep through the corners of your mind. You will make decisions that will determine if any of your allies will continue to collaborate with you. You will be able to alter the landscape of Arkham by reducing its buildings to ashes, and you will be able to acquire valuable information with which you can better prepare for the adventures that still lie ahead.
