Ok ok it’s an old joke, but with this particular unit, it really does have super suction and on full power it can lift up the carpet! So firstly, this is packed really really well so on arrival you have to assemble the vacuum from all the various parts. Make sure you check all the sections of the trays so as not to accidentally throw any of it away, like I nearly did. The unit itself is well built and the charger section and connector is cleverly designed. It feels well balanced in the hands when in use and doesn’t feel cumbersome at all. The extending hose is a plus point meaning I can do the stairs or the inside of the car with ease as well as changing the height of the unit depending on how tall you are. Runtimes have been a lot better than expected. From a 100% full battery I can can do the whole house twice, and that is even going over and over repeated floor sections of carpet to make sure they are clean. So this stat is really very good. Clean is breeze by just removing the collector bin as per all other designs. All in all, an excellent value item that is getting daily use and I’m very impressed with it. It’s also pretty quiet. Review: Impressive performance for the price - I've been using this vacuum for a few weeks now and I'm pleased with how it performs. The battery life is genuinely useful - I can get through my whole house on a single charge, which usually takes about 45m of actual cleaning time. That's plenty for most jobs without needing to stop halfway - unlike another cordless Hoover vacuum cleaner I own, which manages about 20-30 minutes at high suction. The suction is strong enough for everyday mess and debris. I've got a mix of mostly laminate and tiles floors with a bit of carpet upstairs, and it handles both without issue. Pet hair (which I have in abundance) comes up easily, which was my main concern. The floor head does its job well, though you do need to guide it a bit more deliberately than you might expect. The OLED screen is handy for keeping track of battery and power settings at a glance. What I really like is how compact it is when stored. The wall mount charges it and keeps everything tidy without taking up much space. Assembly was straightforward - I had it ready to use within a couple of mins. The attachments are practical for getting into corners and doing the car interior. For around £75 (at the time of ordering), I reckon this represents excellent value. It's not trying to be a premium brand, but it does what you need it to do reliably and efficiently.
