It says balls are not included so you have to order them separately. I ordered 400 and while the ball pit floor is covered about two layers deep, I think my grandson would be happier with more, so another 400 are on the way. Now, to address the durability of the tent, tunnel, and ball pit. The set costs $40; it's not going to last forever. You can't drag it around the house forever or have a bunch of kids wrestle in it. My grandson climbs in and out of the ball pit and it looks brand new. He's in and out of the tunnel and tent all day long and everything is still intact. It's been worth it.
