I was skeptical of similar controllers but came across a video of this and decided to give it a shot. It's very easy to assemble and disassemble, the joystick has clicky microswitches, and it can even be changed to cover the left thumbstick, right thumbstick or D-Pad, a feature other arcade sticks don't have. Bonus points for the button color layout matching the Neo Geo (not apparent in most images). A few gripes, but I'd say they're all minor. The button layout matches the Hori arcade stick, which unfortunately means the L and R buttons are swapped, which might make some menu screens confusing to navigate through. Aside from that, I didn't have any issues with how the buttons felt. Sometimes it's hard to pull the Switch out of the frame when removing it from the unit, and the connection is very precise, meaning you can lose the connection if the Switch isn't pushed all the way down, and it's hard to tell when it isn't. This might happen if you pick up the unit and move it. I also had a bit of difficulty getting the unit to work without it being plugged in via power cord, but thankfully it's not required at all times. And a rather trivial one, but personally I would've made a version available without the artwork, or something less busy, but it's not a big deal either. It's a bit pricy but if you're an arcade enthusiast that wants to turn your Switch into a mini arcade because you've collected a bunch of old school arcade titles, I think you'll be surprised. Review: Almost perfect... - I works well with the Switch 2 and feels sturdy, but with the original Switch disconnects often. Other than that, the stick and button are great.
