DELL Ultra-Speed Drive Quad NVMe M.2 PCIe x16 Card

This Dell-brand PCIe x16 NVMe adapter can host up to 4x NVMe M.2 solid state drives, providing super fast I/O of up to 9GB/s sequential read and 6GB/s sequential write speeds. This product is natively supported by recent generations of Dell Precision workstations (T5810/5820, T7810/7820, T7910/7920, and R7910/7920). Other systems will need PCIe bifurcation support and will need to change the BIOS settings for enabling PCIe 3.0 x16 bifurcation (x4x4x4x4). In order to make this device bootable, UEFI boot mode needs to be enabled in BIOS. The product will be sealed if you order the card only without any M.2 modules. We will need to open the seal to create a RAID if the order comes with M.2 modules. The default configuration on the drive is a RAID 0 storage space formatted under Windows 8/10. However, you may reformat the drive as a logical volume for Linux/macOS or a dynamic volume for Windows 7.
