This new design provides efficient airflow without sacrificing performance — running cooler, quieter, offering equal or better performance than the Aurora R15 desktop — and the ability to personalize your experience in an optimized chassis that's perfect for any setting.
Intentional thermal strategy
Our design prioritizes airflow efficiency and improved acoustics by introducing larger passageways and optimized internal cable management resulting in 20% quieter operation, on average, and 7% lower temperatures compared to the Aurora R15.
This approach — combined with air or liquid cooling CPU options — contributes to an incredibly smooth gaming experience.
Game cool and quietly
Central to the Aurora R16's thermal strategy is the increase in its ventilation's total surface area. This increase is the driving force behind the desktop's efficient airflow, cooling and acoustics.

The Alienware Aurora R16 is our first gaming desktop to include the revamped Alienware Command Center software, where you can create and edit AlienFX lighting across the ecosystem, choose and monitor your performance mode across distinct power states, and create custom gaming profiles for your whole library.

All Aurora R16s are equipped with our 12-phase voltage regulation design. This high-performance technology ensures clean energy is consistently available, unleashing the top-level power of up to 14th Gen Intel® Core™ processors as you game, livestream, and multi-task for hours on end. For more demanding experiences, the new 14th Gen K-series processors are unlocked and can be overclocked, up to 5.8GHz on the i7K and 6.1GHz on the i9K.
Solid speed and storage
Seriously fast load times are made possible thanks to loading Windows from our solid-state drives. Aurora R16 has two PCIe NVMe M.2 slots that enable up to 8TB of total storage space. You can even host an additional 3.5" hard disk drive to store, run and archive any games, files, or applications.
For the highest level of memory multitasking performance, we also enable up to 64GB of 5600 XMP DDR5 options. These are Intel extreme memory profiles where specific tuning manages the speed of each module.
