The D-Link DMS-1100-10TP Smart Managed Ethernet switch supports IEEE 802.3bz and features eight (8) 2.5 Gigabit access ports and two (2) 10 Gigabit SFP+ uplink ports. Each of the eight multi-speed RJ45 PoE ports automatically detects the speed needed by end device and sets its rate at 2.5Gbps, 1000Mbps, or 100Mbps accordingly. The two multi-speed SFP+ ports support 10Gbps/1000Mbps Optical transceivers. The DMS-1100-10TP also supports 802.3at Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) and has a robust PoE power budget of 240W which allows up to 30W of power at each port simultaneously.Support for 802.3bz allows it professionals to double their network bandwidth while leveraging existing Cat-5e cabling - no need to upgrade cabling infrastructure. This makes the DMS-1100 series ideal for applications such as deploying multiple high-performance 802.11AC Wave 2 access points using 2.5 Gigabit connections.
