The most advanced feature of this surveillance device is that it can also be used as a gadget to interact with people when you are not in the same place without even having to place a call. Motion Alert technology allows you to get immediate alerts as soon a single motion is detected in the scene. This feature has reduced the effort put in surveillance by copious amounts and has eased the life of millions. Review: Solid basic cctv - Has lasted almost a year now with no issues. However, I had mixed experiences with the two storage options: 1. SD Card Storage Loop recording is not supported. Once the SD card is full, the camera starts malfunctioning (keeps restarting, lagging, etc.). You need to format the SD card manually at regular intervals (preferably when storage reaches 50–60%). In my case, the first CP Plus SD card got corrupted within 10–12 days. Fortunately, it was replaced under warranty. The replacement worked, but again the same issue appeared once the card was full. After removing the SD card, the camera worked fine without problems. 2. Cloud Storage Much smoother and more reliable compared to SD card. Records only event-based footage (motion detection), not continuous recording. Slightly costly, but during my 6-month subscription I didn’t face a single issue. Final Note Currently, I’m using the SD card again with weekly manual formatting to avoid corruption. Need to see how it performs in the long run. If you don’t want the hassle, I’d suggest going for cloud storage despite the extra cost—it’s much more stable.
