Premium all-metal mic arm with 360° rotation for optimal
positioning. Integrated cable channels and low-profile design for
a clean, unobstructed setup.
Review: High quality, highly adjustable, good cable management. -
Originally, I was using a cheap spring base, high profile arm
that I've had for 10 years maybe more. With my new desk setup, I
found it got in the way, both physically and visually and looked
messy. Not to mention the springs would make an awful noise when
adjusting. The Elgato Wave Low Profile arm is genuinely better in
every way. It's highly adjustable, sturdy and very supporting of
my microphone (A Wave:3 on a shock mount). It doesn't get in the
way, as it can be neatly folded away to the side of the desk, or
even behind your monitor if your setup allows. When in use, it
doesn't obstruct the monitor, keyboard or mouse and you can
genuinely forget it's there while playing. The magnetic cable
tidy tray is a nice touch that fits wide cables and makes the
overall appearance much neater. Setup is incredibly easy, and the
padded clamp is very nice for protecting the desk. Only complaint
is that a longer arm could be better for giving more flexibility
with where to clamp it on my large desk. It's pricey, but for how
neat it looks on the desk, the quality and adjustability and the
fact that mic arms basically last forever, I'm very happy with
the purchase.
