The Green Self-Centered Hex-Logic Light Cut Heavy Polish, Minor Scratch and Swirl Remover Pad is tough enough to remove swirls and scuffs while at the same time producing a high gloss swirl free finish. This foam pad is ideal for applying one-step cleaner waxes . It is a balance of polishing and finishing that is perfect for all-in-one product application. This pad features PUR+ (Poly-Urethane-Reactive Bonding). This pad has the most durable and resistant backing plate, it is soft and gentle to paint. The PUR+ backing plates can be washed hundreds of times guaranteeing a perfect grip with every use that is PUR+ technology. This pad also features Hexagon technology, also known as Hex-Logic. Hex-Logic pads are designed to hold product and distribute it evenly over the surface of the pad delivering a superior even finish that is hard to achieve with any other pad. The unique construction of the pads makes them extremely easy to maneuver while distributing the product evenly on the surface. The Hex-Logic pads keep the product in the groves while you start and as the pad is spun and rubbed against the surface, the polish will travel through the hex-groves into the pad, evenly delivering a superior accurate finish. The surface is constantly lubricated which reduces friction and marring. The unique hex laser cut surface of the pad enables Hex-Logic pads to conform to the shape of the surface delivering maximum surface contact. The Hexagon construction forms perfectly to a vehicle's many curves while the unique pad construction reduces unnecessary heat. The self-centered pads are uniquely sized to 6.5 inches making them perfect for big or small jobs. Review: Worked great - I just polished the whole of my new 2025 Camry, including the glass, using this Chemical Guys (BUFX_103HEX6 BUFX_103_HEX6) Green Hex-Logic Heavy Polishing Pad with DIY Detail's Gold Standard polish. This is in advance of a ceramic coating application. . I cleaned the pad every couple of panels by spraying it with rinseless wash, wiping off the residue with a waffle-weave microfiber towel, and spinning off the remaining liquid. I simply used the weight of my rotary DA with no extra pressure and did three cross-hatch passes on each panel. . The result was to remove light swirls and scratches and round off the deeper scratches so they aren't as visible. Some areas did need more than 3 passes. The green pad seems very similar in performance to the Lake Country CCS Orange pad. It's a great way to correct the paint surface without removing too much clearcoat. . The pad itself is in perfect condition after 4-hours of polishing. The foam is not visibly worn or chipped, and the hook-and-loop loop backing is firmly attached even after washing in the sink and squeezing dry. My Harbor Freight pads lose their loop backing after a full sink wash and I have to use contact adhesive to repair them. The Chemical Guys pads are worth the extra money. . I can certainly recommend this pad. Review: I'm going to switch back to Lake County - Ok so this product used to be the absolute best value for your money before chemical guys was a mainstream company. Since landing on store shelves the quality has dipped pretty hard on the pads. My first orange and white pads are a little dirty but after 2 years of use theyre coming apart around the backing pad. This pad (may 2021) went through 3 cars and there are pieces of foam missing already. For the sharp raise in all pricing there are simply better products for the money available. if you want a nice high quality pad id say lake county, as far as product I have NEVER used a Polish that has longer worktime than the CG V series in 16 years. You can put 4 dots of v34 on and finish the entire panel. That being said im going to go back to using the Lake County pads with meguiars 105/205 combo with v38 to finish. The results are very consistent and on a DA super safe.
