Review: Excellent Quality, Superb Value Television - I like the
good construction, solid feeling, and excellent picture quality.
The remote is especially well designed and very solid. The menus
seemed initially complicated but pretty soon made sense. Setting
up the satellite channels was fairly easy. All the HDMI connected
features work perfectly ('ROKU' streaming, old Laptop connection
and old DVD/CD player - though the later two needed special
analog-digital adaptors within the cable, all available cheaply
online). There is an especially good Cello helpline and emailer
to sort out issues with setting up. I was less keen on the sound
quality (I bought an affordable 'Majority' soundbar which used
the optical ports and cable and that works very well). The online
manual for this model seems to be out of date with several
different features now installed, such as a different set of
sockets. Some information on the manual was vaguer than I wanted,
so I kept the helpline staff busy - they were very polite and
responses were speedy. This is my main living room television,
and I am very pleased with it.
Review: A great little TV at a great price - This 22 inch TV was
simple and quick to set up, and easy to use. It has a good
picture and great sound, and just works really well. I've not
tried any of the recording or internet facilities yet, but so far
I'm very pleased with it. The arial input is not quite as
sensitive as it's eight year old predecessor, so it needs a
reasonably good (indoor) arial, but that is not really a problem.
A good purchase.
